All areas of my life have been supported by the kindness and initiative of people who have gone before me. Now more than ever, a lot of those people are the ones taking the time to write blogs or post YouTube videos online about their experiences with anything from outdoor trips to changing brakes on a car. My own career and hobbies would not be possible had these people not taken time out of their life to share what they had learned. The internet is simply the latest platform for humans to share knowledge and continue the tradition of passing down life lessons and experiences to those who come next. This site exists to continue that tradition.
My expertise in the areas I will be writing about may not always be the gold standard, but even the smallest bit of information or clue I have found when trying to fix technical computer issues, plan a backpacking route, or put together meal plans has been valuable to me; especially when the topic or location may not be heavily documented. I hope this site serves to do just that: provide a little more help or a few more details on whatever project or trip you are preparing for.
As for the name of the site? I love Little House on the Prairie, wide empty fields, and getting to support unique individuals in a technical helpdesk environment. It is a good way to put it all together. And the domain name is available.
Thank you for taking the time to visit this project, and please reach out if you have any thoughts, questions, or suggestions at alawajibtech@pm.me.
