Little Helpdesk on the Prairie views AI as a useful tool in the creative process but not as a replacement for human writing, experience, advice, guides, or support. Part of the inspiration of this site was seeing AI generated articles quickly replacing the forums and blogs written by real people that were the primary sources of information online before. While those AI articles can be useful in their own way, this site will remain a thoroughly human source of information sharing.

Writing

All tech support and outdoor blog posts written on this site are written by humans who have experienced the topic themselves. AI may be used as a tool to review content for common errors in grammar, spelling, or flow, but never to write posts in their entirety or make major revisions.

Visuals

While the goal is to eventually have all visuals on the site be created by human hands, AI may be used in the interim to brainstorm, be used for comedic purposes, or fill needs which are not able to met due to financial constraints.

Web Design

This website is designed and built by humans using common web tools like WordPress and Cloudflare Pages. AI may be used to review and improve technical areas such as accessibility, custom code, security, and performance.
